As a Junior System Administrator (m/f/d), you will play a key role in providing reliable and efficient support for our customers' IT systems. You will provide support in the administration and further development of IT infrastructures, ensure the smooth operation of server and network systems and support our customers as a competent contact person.

In this position, you will help our customers to overcome their technical challenges and contribute to making their IT landscape future-proof and efficient. You will work closely with experienced colleagues and take the opportunity to continuously develop your skills through practical experience and targeted training. Your tasks

As a Junior System Administrator (m/f/d) you will play a central role in the support and optimisation of our customers' IT systems. Your main tasks include:

  • System administration: Support in the administration and maintenance of Windows and Linux servers, including regular updates and patches.
  • User and access management: Setting up and maintaining user accounts, authorisations and group policies to ensure secure and efficient operations for our customers.
  • Network management: Support in the maintenance and configuration of networks, including routers, switches and VPNs.
  • Troubleshooting: Analysing and resolving technical faults as part of 1st and 2nd level support, both on-site at our customers' premises and remotely.
  • Project support: Participation in the implementation of new IT solutions and systems for our customers, such as cloud migrations, IT security solutions and infrastructure expansions.
  • Documentation: Recording and maintenance of technical documentation, including network diagrams, system changes and user manuals.

In this role, you will work closely with our experienced administrators and have the opportunity to gradually take on responsibility in customer projects. You will make an important contribution to ensuring smooth IT operations for our customers.

Our requirements

We are looking for a motivated Junior System Administrator (m/f/d) who enjoys supporting our customers with their IT challenges. We are looking for the following qualifications and characteristics:

  • You have completed training in the IT sector (e.g. IT specialist for system integration) or have a comparable qualification.
  • You already have some experience in the administration of IT systems (Windows and/or Linux environments) or are willing to familiarise yourself with these topics.
  • You are familiar with terms such as TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP and have a basic knowledge of network technologies.
  • You are interested in IT security and cloud technologies and would like to develop your skills in these areas.
  • Your way of working is structured and solution-orientated, and you keep an overview even in stressful situations.
  • You enjoy working in a team and communicate confidently in German (at least B2 level) and English, especially in a technical context.
